 We all love that fresh chlorine smell when you lift the cover on your hot tub.
Recently we have seen a lot of people struggling to keep on top of their water quality. This can smell bad and look green or cloudy as it starts to turn bad. We advise every hot tub owner purchase a floating chlorine dispenser! Many people don't realise that adding chlorine granules to the water every now and then WILL NOT keep the chlorine level stable. Adding 2-3 tablets in a chlorine dispenser slowly releases constant chlorine into the water keeping it sanitised when not being used. The granules should only be used as a booster of chlorine levels if after testing they are low. We all forget about the hot tub now and then after all. If you follow this simple advise and keep PH and ALK at correct levels, there will be no more water problems. Constant dirty water can lead to health problems or Biofilm bacteria in the system which can be hard to get rid of
